Thomas Ethelbert Willerton

Tom was the second youngest of 14 children of Joseph Johnston Willerton and Margaret Watson. After Tom and Ruby were married they lived in the Neepawa and Kelwood areas before moving to Winnipeg where Tom worked in a Service Station. They moved to Plumas to work Aunt Ida's farm. Tom worked at the General Hospital as a Fireman and later worked at the Deer Lodge Hospital, obtaining his Stationary Engineering Paper while there. He was a Mason. He had a special way with children and dogs - many have seen "Spot" do her tricks, which she also did for Ruby and others. Tom was active in the No. 1 Legion as he had been wounded in WWI. He developed cancer and died in 1976.
